We worked with both Rebekah and Miranda during our birth experience. It’s hard to fully describe the comfort and peace that both Rebekah and Miranda brought to each situation we encountered during labor and delivery. As a first time mom, there was so much during labor and delivery that I hadn’t ever experienced before. I asked lots of questions during each stage of labor and each question was met with a listening ear, wisdom from their experiences, and also knowledgeable resources that helped guide us through the decisions we had to make. They were trusted voices in the room that helped us make decisions that we felt confident in. They provided reassurance and affirmed our choices. They partnered well with our nurses and providers to make sure that my husband and I felt like active participants each step of the way. In reflection of our birth experience, Rebekah and Miranda’s support was outstanding and I can’t imagine what it would have been like without them. They were available to answer questions, came up with positions to labor and push in, listened to my concerns and fears, and made sure that my husband and I had things to eat and drink. We felt so cared for physically and emotionally and we are forever grateful for the parts they played in the delivery of our baby boy!

As soon as I found out I was pregnant, I knew having doula support would be essential. My husband and I began searching around 16 weeks and quickly connected with Golden Hour Doulas. From our first consultation to the final postpartum check-in, I always felt heard, respected, and genuinely cared for by Rebekah and Miranda. They listened closely to our desires as a couple and to my needs as the birthing mother. They offered thoughtful insight, explaining various techniques and balancing western medical approaches with traditional wisdom. When it began to look like I might need an induction instead of the spontaneous labor I hoped for, they followed my lead and helped create an alternative plan, while also suggesting last-minute ways to encourage labor naturally. In the end, we were blessed with a spontaneous, intervention-free, natural labor and birth. Rebekah supported me through every moment—guiding me through contractions, advocating for me in the delivery room, coaching me during pushing, and encouraging my husband as he supported me. I had the birth experience I dreamed of but never thought possible, largely because of the steady, compassionate care of Rebekah and Miranda. I would absolutely use their services again. My only hesitation in recommending them is the fear they’ll be fully booked when I need them next time. They truly are the best.

Ever since we found out we were expecting, I knew I wanted to have a doula with us during labor and delivery. I met with several doulas, but when I met Rebekah, I knew almost immediately that she was the one. Even though we had never met before, talking with her felt like chatting with a friend.
During our first meeting, she and Miranda took the time to walk us through every aspect of pregnancy and birth—including things we hadn’t even thought about. They made us feel informed and really prepared.
As my due date approached, Rebekah was very responsive to all my questions and concerns over text. When my daughter decided to take her time arriving, Rebekah offered reassurance, and thoughtful suggestions to help things progress naturally. When I finally went into labor, she came right away when we needed her.
Throughout my long labor we were so grateful for her calm presence and continuous support. She helped both of us meet our goals for our birth plan and gave us suggestions of different positions to help baby move, as well as natural pain- relieving measures. She prayed with us during the tough moments and encouraged us during parts of labor that were difficult. When it came time to push, she really helped me to focus and to reach the goals I had for the pushing stage. We couldn't have asked for a better person to be with us during this special time. We will definitely be using Rebekah again for our next baby!

When I became pregnant with our third baby I knew that I wanted to have a different birth experience from my first two. Although I was so thankful for doctors and nurses involved and the very needed medical interventions for my daughter (who was premature) I had learned so much about labor and birth since than that I knew I couldn’t have another conventional, medicalized birth. Lord willing and barring any true medical needs and emergencies I wanted an unmedicated hospital birth with as few interventions as possible and one I could truly say I was in control of throughout the whole process. Without Miranda as my doula I seriously doubt this would have happened. God used her throughout my pregnancy, labor and delivery to empower me, educate me, create a plan and encourage and bless me and my husband with words of wisdom and prayer. During labor she helped my husband make key decisions based on what we had previously discussed and planned for. She supported me with gentle guidance and comfort measures to cope with the pain. My husband would tell anyone that he started out hardly knowing what a doula does and by the time we had our baby he was wondering how we ever did without! He was so thankful for her calming presence and experience. I’m so thankful to the Lord for her and that He used her to bless me with a redemptive labor and birth that I prayed for. We highly recommend her if you are seeking a doula!

We had a wonderful experience with Rebekah as our doula for the birth of our twin boys! It was a VBAC and Charlotte's first vaginal delivery, so there were a lot of unknowns for us as we were walking in. Rebekah was so helpful in our entire labor process, coming alongside us and helping us know what to expect and how to respond. Ultimately, she helped us to achieve the unmedicated twin VBAC that we were hoping for! We are thankful for her knowledge and skills, and will definitely be using her for future deliveries!

As a first-time mom, Miranda was invaluable throughout my pregnancy and birth. She consistently provided resources, guidance, and prayerful support for every challenge I faced. Her knowledge from her own five births and professional experience made her a trusted advisor through the entire journey. My husband and I planned an unmedicated birth at a birth center, and Miranda was essential to our success. When she arrived during labor, I could barely speak, but she immediately understood what I needed without explanation. Her intuition was remarkable. I had intense back labor, and Miranda alternated with my husband providing constant counter pressure and massage, giving him crucial breaks during my long labor. She anticipated everything before I could ask: ice roller, TENS unit, fan, essential oils, and constant hydration reminders. She helped me try different positions when fear kept me stuck and guided our decision on when to head to the birth center. Her care extended into postpartum as well. I wholeheartedly recommend Miranda to anyone seeking exceptional doula support.

As Christians, we desired to hire someone that was willing to incorporate their faith into their work. We found Rebekah and immediately felt connected, not just because of her faith and her desire to serve us in this way, but also in personality. When we hired Rebekah, our pregnancy was considered low-risk. It eventually became high-risk and Rebekah worked with us as our delivery plans kept changing. Rebekah is extremely professional, but also incredibly thoughtful. She was super easy to contact and always got back to us in a reasonable amount of time. She provided my husband with tools to help him feel involved in my pregnancy, but also during labor & delivery. We ended up having an emergency c-section, so when my husband wasn't able to be in the OR with me, she was able to provide explanation on what was happening and coach my husband on ways to process what was happening. Even after she left the hospital, she kept in contact with us to ensure we were OK. Her experience and resources helped us throughout and after the whole prenatal, delivery, & postpartum process. We would recommend Rebekah to anyone that's thinking of hiring a doula.
